Would you date a killer? What if he was acquitted?

George Michael Zimmerman (born October 5, 1983) is an American known for the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida on February 26, 2012. On July 13, 2013, he was acquitted of all charges in Florida v. George Zimmerman. Now, he was found under several aliases on some internetl dating sites. He was removed from those sites. You could call him a "killer", because he did kill a person; but he was acquitted of the crime. The question is: Would you date a killer? And, if he's not a "killer" in the eyes of the law, why shouldn't he be on those internet dating sites?
 

I had the experience of communicating with a man from an internet dating site and he told me he went to prison for killing someone. I tried as hard as I could to not let it affect me but it did and I could not date him.
 
You gals may be surprised at how many cons even on death row get requests to date, “if you ever get out” and not to mention the death row inmates that get marriage proposals in the mail. The Menendez Brothers would be a great example. There are many, many more.
 
No, I would never date a killer even if he was aquitted, and I'd never date a creep like Zimmerman even if he never killed anyone.
 
This thread is interesting to me.

We live in a country where so many people value the right to own and carry guns but it seems that we don't want to associate with people that actually use one to kill another person.

I'm trying to understand where the line is when it comes to accepting a killer in our lives.

I read that Ted Bundy got lots of fan mail from women, including marriage proposals. I will never understand that.

I'll clarify my point of view. If someone had to kill someone to save their own life it would not be an issue to me, I expect any reasonable person to try anything to save their own life or the lives of their family members. If someone kills another for no good reason, they fit into another category as a murderer who went out to seek a victim and take their life, as in the case of Zimmerman.

Good point..Didn't think about it in that way...
 
Sorry but I could not date someone who killed even if they did it for a good reason...
