Would you forward card?

While I gather my resources to work through widowhood, I have my partner in crime, my brother in law. I lost my husband last year in April and he lost my sister in June.
Now the question, I have been helping to clean out her house and found a birthday card, written out to him, from my sister. His birthday isn't until fall, but should I forward it? It has a short little cute message written in the card, not just signed.
I think I'm in a phase now where I would smile seeing it, but I know that a few months ago it would have made me feel horrible.
All thoughts encouraged!!

I would also put my name & address on the outside of the envelope. It would ease the shock, if there’d be any.
