Would you go to Las Vegas casinos when the door's open? Video news.

We usually go there for a few days in October. The situation with this virus will determine whether we go this year, or not. Our local casinos are all shut, and may reopen by mid-May....so we'll see how they are handling this situation.
 

Not Vegas, but we do have a casino here in town.

The neighbor was just talking about this, ohhhh that faraway look in her eyes just tugged at my heartstrings. I know she will be first in line.

And I will be second.
 
Once in a great while we go to the Atlantic City casinos. They are all closed now and when they reopen it will be quite sometime before we go and just as long before we go in their pools and to any buffets .

I’m not against anyone going either. Most businesses are out to make money so I can’t fault anyone for that. It’s highly entertaining for many people. It’s just I’m not really a drinker and don’t like crowds of people. There’s a place not that far from us and they have some of the biggest entertainers there. Some of whom I’d really like to see but the discomfort isn’t worth it for me.

Plus my husband tells me stories about people he knows who have gotten addicted to gambling and lost everything and that’s the image that stays in my head. It’s very sad but I understand that’s the minority.
 
Been to Vegas enough times to know that the casinos will never be able to enforce the 6' rule, and the sidewalk throngs on the strip are shoulder to shoulder most days, when the crowds are there.

Yeah, I'll wait for a vaccine, and it better not have MSG in it. (Believe it, or not, measles and shingles vaccines do contain MSG. Weird, right?)
 
Never been to Vegas and won't start now. First of all, I've been boycotting the airlines for over a decade; won't fly unless it's absolutely necessary. I don't gamble except to use the complimentary slot coupon given when I take the Atlantic city bus to get to my timeshare.
