Would you go to your 50th Class Reunion?

Went to mine in 2014. We only had 20 kids in our class. About 12 showed up for the get-together. Since then, two have passed away and a third really bad with cancer. Had not seen most since graduation. Many just stayed in and around our small home town and have lived within a few miles of each other. The few of us who had lived our lives away from there were sorta "outcasts" as the get together. And, they had the reunion at a local bar. Nothing like the smell of beer and the sound of the rest of the bar's patrons shouting four-letter words at each other in the background. Didn't stay long.

2015, we attended my wife's 50th. She had over 300 in her class. She didn't want to go, as she had not stayed in contact with any for 50 years. I pushed her for us to go. She ended up having a great time visiting with classmates from long ago.

Stark difference between the two. The small rural community reunion like something our of the movie "Deliverance". The larger city reunion, held in a nice facility, with a great meal, good entertainment, and enough people of differing backgrounds that conversation was easy.

NEVER! I never went to any reunion. I didn't want to be around those people then and would never want to see any one of them again.

nope never went to any reunions including the 50th. those people we not my friends in school nor in any of the years since

I have absolutely no interest in reunions. I keep in touch with the two friends at made at school in the 60s.
