Would you like an Airbnb across the street?

I wouldn't mind an AirBnB across from me. I'd also like to have nearby a library branch, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a nice thrift shop. I am so sick and tired of lonely, old residential neighborhoods out in the middle of nowhere, yuck.
 

If somebody wants to give me a nice home across the street or even down the block that is used as an airbnb I would take it. Then I would sell it.
 
This whole Airbnb thing…. Didn’t it start with people who had an extra bedroom and bathroom in the house they lived in, simply renting them out for a few nights to make some extra money? Or I am imagining that?
 
It depends on the owner and there are so many different short term companies .. I have not used Air B and B often the host is on site. I have used VRBO and rented a large house once in a resort area.

Hosts did a interview background check with me before renting... I was using for a family reunion type vacation but could have been a great layout for a party if someone was looking for that.
It is always a risk as i feel those who do not follow rules would prefer a short term rental house then a hotel type situation where you would be immediately thrown out for doing something stupid
