Would you like to swap places for a day?

I wish I could resurrect the time I lost consciousness from drinking and a chemical substance known for distorting perception. When I woke up I didn’t and still don’t remember what happend the night before. Evidently my buddy or somebody drove his car in a ditch and for the first time I was out of synch with the natural flow of life and time. No one denies there is a rhythim by which life interacts and communicates among us, imagine that your timing was off and everything you tried to do was a near miss, out of synch and out of time.

I would like to know what happened that night.

Lost consciousness due to blackouts are never to be regained. You might have been sleeping, but whatever, it's gone as your brain never registered the information.

I suppose but it remains a mystery

Would you like to swap places for a day?

No
I'd rather we invite each other over to our places
But not a whole day
Just an hour
Two max
Otherwise, food gets involved
I really don't like other people's food
....or sharing mine

As far as doing acid?
I'd rather drown what's left of my brain in a good single malt

Wow relax! It was joke. I have no reason or desire to swap lives with anyone. So you have read of my posts? I hope you were entertained if so I accomplished my purpose here. I appreciate your sentiments that I am seeking answers when indeed I am posing questions to challenge people to think for themselves and not like sheep following directions without a second thought.
I do, however, love the humor slant

You're missing the point, imagine The Jetsons, My Favorite Martian, Mork & Mindy, Star Trek etc, swap places not mind and body but physical locations like a holiday where people swap homes and living quarters for desired length of time. If someone in the US wanted experience another country or location simply dial in the coordinates and poof you swap locations. There must be a transaction for replacement of two or more consenting adults.
OK, maybe swap with one of Mötley Crüe's band members for one day, if my liver can take it.

In the 1990's and early 2000, we did home exchanges - Australia/New Zealand and California. We never had a problem - actually the house was cleaner after the exchange LOLOL. The site then was "Seniors' Home Exchange" or similar name. Since widowed, I have lost interest in travelling (except to the UK to visit my sons)

I'm all in for time travel or parallel lives but not
exchanging consciousness with you. (no offence).
I'll even be transmitted into the multiverse or take
off in a flying saucer!

Your body. Your life.
You're going to have to tough it out! haha!

Seriously, drugs are not for kids, and I always warned my own son not to think anything could ever slip past me as I knew it all.

We weren't kids, though, my best friend & I and yes we were indeed 'tripping' at that glorious moment.
Day Trippin'? :giggle:
