Not if I had a reasonable choice.
The only "high rise" I have lived in was a 7 story dorm my freshman year of college. I lived on the 2nd floor.
Working the closest was a 5 story building, I was on the 3rd floor. I did spend a week working in a conference room high in one of the World Trade Center towers, fortunately I was out before 9/11.
