Would you want to visit old duty stations, bases, etc?

So, we (wife and I) have visited Quantico Marine Base. Virginia and Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, Naval Air Base Corpus Christi, Texas. Next on the stop (March 2024) will be Marine Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. We love it. We always stay at on base lodging.

If you were in the military, you had a lot of places, which you called home. I was stationed in the hospital in GTMO 1970-72. This sounds dumb, but I'd like to take a tour of GTMO, and see the clinic I spent 2 year working in. God help me, even take a spin around the Great Lakes bootcamp.
#1 Would you want to see your old duty stations?
#2 Does anyone know if there are tours of places, like GTMO?
I would but I think that will not happen. Camp Chaffe AR, Arlington Hall VA, and Frankfort Germany.

I spent over a year and a half in GTMO, Cuba. The weather was excellent, it would make a great high-end resort. But I would like to visit the Eye clinic at the hospital. For most of my tour, I was the lone "eye tech". I didn't have an ophthalmologist for a long time. I had to sit in the clinic, and "look busy". I was not allowed to read a book, I was just supposed to "look busy". You try looking busy for 8 hours a day. Time does not pass quickly when you're 'looking busy', and I think I spent 200 or 300 years sitting in that clinic 'looking busy". I just wanted to see it one more time.

Don't know of any tours per se. As to seeing old duty stations? I live less than 20 miles from one; have never went back, and probably never will.
