Wouldn't you cry if you owned this Ferrari

Let's see. I own a car worth £169,545 and live in a street where the average price of a home is £8million.
I think I could probably afford to pay for the repairs, even without insurance.

No, I wouldn't cry over a damaged car.

Yes, but the complete loss of the car wouldn't be anywhere near the disaster for the owner that the probable loss of his job would have be for the lorry driver. It was clearly his fault, but still I feel sorry for him.

Falcon, it occurs to me that the mortgages and loans are probably in some company's name for the purpose of tax avoidance.
All things are possible for people who are in the top income brackets.

I think the owner's reaction would most likely be tears of rage at having his toy damaged than any other emotion you or I might feel.

Yep teachers right lol, actually i was having a good look at the pictures did you notice how cars are parked on the corners so it leaves hardly any room for the poor truckies to get through, and Warrigal is right he had his order in for a new one before the wrecked one was towed away no doubt, i mean what's money

I don't think a lorry that size should be travelling down a narrow London street, especially if parking on both sides of the street is allowed. I wonder what he was carrying. It doesn't look like a furniture removalist. Perhaps he was lost?

According to the article, the driver doesn't live on that street, he had just parked there.

I wouldn't want a Ferrari in the first place. I certainly don't get sentimental about belongings. I would be annoyed at the inconvenience, but a car is only a piece of metal, and as long as the insurance paid out in full I wouldn't cry any tears about it.
