Wyman Meinzer`s "West Texas"

http://player.vimeo.com/video/22132017?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0

Wyman Meinzer is a photographer from West Texas.

Wyman Meinzer once lived in the old jail in Benjamin, Texas. The photo of the coiled rattlesnake appeared on the cover of a wildlife magazine in the 80s. Meinzer says there were times he “crawled a long way on his belly to get a good shot of a wild animal.” Most of these photos were taken in West Texas in the rolling plains on the Fork, 6666, and Waggoner Ranches. You may recognize some shots from Palo Duro Canyon. The music is by Doug Smith, from Petersburg, Texas, who plays by ear – he can’t read music but he sure as heck can play it.

If you have the time, take a few moments to view and listen. It is simply a heckuva portrayal of the great state of Texas.:)
