Wyoming Couple Keeps Son Locked Up Outdoors in a Cage

What happened to the days where a child was supposed to be protected in his home by his mother?

I really don't know, given that the maternal instinct in human females is supposed to be even stronger than the instinct to find food when hungry.

Someone should be studying these cases looking for the factors that might be contributing factors.
 
Sometimes nature just doesn't provide the right hormonal balance that provides for nurturing...
