You’re slowly losing patience

Hoo, boy; where do I start? 😆

I agree with pretty much everything that's been mentioned so far.

One thing that particularly grates is the general loss of civility. For example, I think I've read at least two news stories in the past couple of weeks about people melting down in airports and physically attacking gate agents because their flight was canceled or some such inconvenience.

I haven't witnessed such an incident in person—yet—but internally I am losing patience, fast, with that kind of behavior.
oooh there's a ton of them on youube... just terrible...

The thing about getting older is that first, you can't do what you use to be able to do. and if you can, it's takes you longer to get it done. After which you ponder and realize that you are indeed older, less agile, less energetic and there is nothing you can do about it. Then the understanding creeps in and you start to think about other things.
You read about road rage and airport problems and realize that all these issues are based on the same mind sets we had when we were younger. Now we see thru differnt eyes. We were going to change the world. We were going to make a difference. We were going to.......................and then we got older and wiser and realized that we couldn't fight the battles required. Nothing has changed for those coming after us except we now know the cost of effort and commitment and realize that emotion will not change things. They do not, hence they will repeat our mistakes. In the mean time we watch the world change around us and wonder where it is going. Thankfully GOD, is in charge.
My comments are only my thoughts. I have no answers. I just observe what is going on with my 77 year old brain and ponder.

I walk around a local mall a couple of times a week, and I lost patience long ago with people who walk through any public establishment staring down at their phones and almost running into others. I've been working on stealthy strategy to bump into them and "accidentally" knock the phones out of their hands. No one would believe a nice old man would do that. :ROFLMAO:

Aside from that, I've mellowed since retirement.

Well, recently, e-scooters which are not even allowed in my neighbourhood. And it's just not kids on them, adults too. And none of them have a bell or something to alert that they are behind you on the sidewalk. There have been near misses, that if I had moved one step to the left or right, I would have been run over.
