My only child was born the same year this song was released.

During the many years it was just my son and I "against the world", sometimes I would think about this song.

But I never dreamed I would be the solitary one left behind with only the memories...

A co-worker friend who had also lost her only child shared something very profound.
She said, in all those years you were busy taking care of him... you didn't realize
until after he were gone, how much he took care of you.
