Matches, need fire for lots of stuff. Fishing rod its an island meaning ocean all around, gotta eat even if I get sick of fish. Knife gotta cut up all that darned fish! And lastly medicine kit, because alone there one is bound to have physical problems requiring first aid.
 

Depends on how long I expect to be stranded. A couple of months? Water purifier, matches, tent, fishing rod.

A very long time? Water purifier, hand saw, first aid kit, fishing rod.

Would have to build a lean-to right away, figure out how to start a fire, carve out a stone pot, find strong vines that would double as rope, collect and save rainwater (purifier would eventually give out), and build a new fishing rod for when that gave out.

What would you carve a stone pot from?
 
Still thinking about this. Yes, a rifle might be useful for catching an edible small mammal. But having been raised in an urban environment, my butchery skills are zero. So I could have some problems. Fishing? Similarly clueless. But if I have to choose, it would be

Tent
Knife
Rope
Rifle
 
Tarp has more uses than the tent or sleeping bag. I know how to make a stone knife and start a fire without matches. Water is a must, so the purifier. Those leaves are big enough to hold water and cook with if you are careful. You can braid rope from plant fibers...so...Tarp, water purifier, probably the boots and fishing gear. None of the rest is a lot of help in that situation.

Tarp to shield from sun while in the raft & to collect any rain water if it rains.

Flare gun to signal any passing ships

water purifier for any rain water if it rains.

Using other stones. Would have to chip it out and smooth it. It would take a while, but that's how early humans managed. Would have to make something from wood to start with and BBQ using sticks over a fire.

As I said, my choices would depend on how long I expected to be marooned.

Highly useful would be a complete Boy Scout handbook but it isn't on the list.
