You get sent back to age 15

You get sent back to age 15 along with all your current memories. What’s the first thing you do differently?

I'd sure work harder in school and think more seriously about my future career.

And then when i finished with that high-blown thought, I'd seriously rethink that strapless green dress I wore to Spring Fling that year. I lacked the ....uh.....equipment to hold it up....

Never walk into a pub, thus enabling me to make up my own mind as to a career, maybe an art degree, graphic design to tap into my creative side which was always there but never allowed to see the light of day through destructive alcohol abuse.

Moved in with grandparents when my mom and step-dad got divorced.

Finish high school…..although I went back and obtained my GED then went on to higher education later in life.

Focus on choosing the right career for myself and starting to prepare for it and being ready for college and then embarking on a meaningful and rewarding occupation. Also, developing my social skills.

I left home when I was fifteen and stayed away until I joined the Army at age 17 1/2 and given the same circumstances I'd do the same thing again.....no regrets.

Stop dating and plan a way to get out and see some of the world before commiting to anything. Military? There weren't a lot of options in those days.

Ask out this girl that I had a big crush on but was too shy to ask out at the time.

I liked being 15 and the rest of my teen years. So, I would just keep being happy and enjoy that time of my life.

I was 15 in 1962.

If I were sent back to that year with all my current memories intact, I would know what investments to make, and might be the richest person who ever lived by now.

If I were suddenly 15 now, in 2025, but with all my memories intact, I would be much more focused on education and starting a successful career that I was the first time around.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'd change my 15 year old life by much. You know "stupid" when you're doing it.

Was a good year for me, and I wouldn’t change a thing. ….. was the age that I met my husband to be.

15 was a bad year for me... I was forced to leave school and go to work .. in a horrible environment.. because the sperm donor wanted my wages.. and he took every penny

if I could have a do over and be able to choose my own path... I would insist on staying at school and until at least another year so I could take O levels... and therefore get a better paying job... ..... and or .. demanding that I get a portion of my hard earned wages..so ultimately I could save to get the hell out of there...

I finished school at 15, the happiest day of my life. It was so good getting into the workforce, wages were terrible, but at least I had some money to buy a few things. Made some lovely friends which I am still in touch with.

I wouldn't change a thing about my studies or my work ethic, but I'd tell myself it is okay to be gay and not try to pretend I'm not. I did have 3 wonderful years with my girlfriend in high school. I'd like to think I enhanced her life as she did mine, but I carried so much guilt for knowing I wasn't being true to either of us.

I would only go back to being 15 in today's environment where it would be okay to be "out". Back to the 70's... no thanks!
