So you go back and re look at what you were browsing hoping to jog your memory but no luck, whatever struck your interest is just gone.

@RuralKanuck, you have a couple years on me but you reminded me of a story my doc friend told me a couple of years ago.

He was shocked that his 70 something year old patient bent down and tied his shoes. He asked me if I could? Of course I can, can't you? (he's about 3 years younger than me) He never answered the question.

This happened to me just a few days ago. I fell asleep downstairs and didn't wake up until 5:30 am. I thought it was only 5:30 pm.

Boy was I disoriented. Especially when it remained light outside so much longer than usual.

I did this like 3 times in one week. Yes, quite disorienting.

I look down and I still have my slippers on.

I have different shoes I wear to help keep my house a little cleaner, one pair for outside yard, one pair for my basement, slippers for indoors, of course other shoes I wear when going somewhere.

The other day I went out on my porch, the neighbor starting talking to me, I looked down and saw I still had my slippers on.

We have a white board in the kitchen and write drown what ever we run out of. Before we go shopping, we make sure to take a picture of it.

Haha. My rule is if more than 3 items needed at the store, it must go on a list. Soon it will be down to 2 items. A good trick is that my list is now on my phone, instead of hardcopy, so I wont forget it

I usually forget where I parked my car in the grocery store lot. Sometimes my key fob doesn't find it for me. So now after I park I look at the grocery store name & either I parked closer to the P or closer to the X ( Publix)

I've started noticing the classic situation where people start holding doors open for you..... and I'm a GUY. Where I live in coastal Mississippi people are very friendly and courteous. But the other day it hit me that they hold doors for me because they see that I'm an old duff....

@ChiroDoc , I noticed that too lately, young people holding doors open for me.
They used to just let the doors go and slam me in the face.

I thought it was because I am so beautiful that young men wanted to hold the door for me.
Nah...turns out they are just being polite and see how fragile I am.
