You May Be A Ambivert

I never heard of Ambivert until reading the "Huffington Report". I have always considered my self to be a extrovert and still do after reading the article. How about you?

You're an ambivert. That means you're neither strongly introverted nor strongly extraverted. Recent research by Adam Grant of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Management has found that ambiverts make the best salespeople. Ambiverts tend to be adept at the quality of attunement. They know when to push and when to hold back, when to speak up and when to shut up. So don't fall for the myth of the extraverted sales star. Just keep being your ambiverted self.

I'm not an introvert because, while I do somewhat limit my contact with other people, I'm not preoccupied with my own thoughts and feelings.
I'm not an extrovert because, while I'm somewhat outgoing with other people, I'm not overtly expressive nor gregarious.
I'm not an ambivert because I'm neither introvert nor extrovert nor in between.
So you would think I'm an antivert but that's a drug that reduces vomiting.
So I guess I'm just me. I'm comfortable with that.

Confirmed introvert, lifelong. My advisor at UNLV claimed Engineers tend to be introverted. I can talk to folks via written words, but clam up in person. imp

I am an Introvert and always have been. I am polite is spoken to by strangers. I much prefer one on one conversation. Crowds make me shiver with fear, and I have a very very small circle of good friends whom from time to time I hide from as well. And I can be very happy "within" myself.
