You recommend it....

Taking a trip to Yellowstone National Park's Upper and Lower areas. Spectacular scenery and wildlife.

Do not believe everything you hear and only half of what you read. (Or is it the other way around?) :)

Holidays ( vacations)...at least once if not twice a year... and Sun factor lotion, whether you're going into the heat or the snow...always wear high factor lotion...

Cross country skiing in Yellowstone, at daybreak, in the dead of winter, at -35°F. We had the trails to ourselves, and it warmed up to minus ten degrees, by noon! Great fun, great experience. In those days, they had no guards set up to block off the bison. We skied right by them and they didn't bat an eye. Yeah, I know, we were lucky.

Definitely - everyone should try to visit other places and see at least one different one every year. Remember the song, "Everybody's free to wear sunscreen". Two places I've been caught out - surrounded by snow in the Swiss alps and on a paddle boat on the Mississippi.

Homebound...if not for Internet enjoyable "travels". Inexpensive no matter where I 'go.' Oh yes, and reading of experiences of people who've been there in person. :)

Being of positive mind as much as possible. So many things in life can be made better when viewing them with a positive mind. Allowing negativity to invade your mind will not only bring you down, but also the ones around you.

As a general rule, I don't like to recommend. It's safer that way. ;) However, if asked, I will give my opinion about something I have experienced, but would emphasize caveat emptor; in other words, your mileage might vary.
