Drain Pasta. return to pot, quickly add bacon/garlic and egg mixture with parsley.

Simple tasty meal

I can not cook, anymore. I used to cook, bake, sew my own and the families clothes, make quilts, cross stitch, garden, raise children, and work a job-tote that bale and lift that barge. I am woman hear me roar.

Now, I am an old woman, hear me whimper. My everything hurts. So, no, I do not cook.

I enjoy cooking. But, living on my own now sometimes it is hard to be creative, and move beyond simple recipes. So I like to doctor up simple things. I created a really nice chicken stir fry. I add what I like, and what I have on hand. I add mushrooms, green pepper and an orange stir fry sauce I found. I will sometimes even cut up some cherry tomatoes into it (near the end) for a bit of added color.

I've proven that I can cook.
These days I'm content to eat what other people prepare. ;)

I do some cooking....as a precaution if my wife gets ill, or passes away. I do my own breakfasts, and about twice a month my wife selects a recipe for me to make for Supper. I usually do OK, so long as I follow the recipe instructions. It's kind of fun to put a meal together, and it's a bit of insurance to keep from having to live off "Fast Food" if my wife can no longer cook.

I'm enjoying learning how to cook and am screwing up less the more I do it. I don't have the patience to make anything too complex, though, like they do with French cooking where you have all these different sauces and it takes all the pots in the house to make dinner. I do like good French food, though. Maybe some day I'll give it a shot. Indian food has some tasty sauces, too.

We plan & prep our meals. The ops recipe sounds good so we'll try it but probably modify it a little. Use fresh grated parm and skip the extra carbs of garlic bread. Substitute fresh culantro for parsley. Other than that looking forward to this as a meal.

I cook dinner every night for myself. I'm a very simple cook. I don't make fancy recipes that require a lot of
diff ingredients. My seasoning for most of my food consists of salt pepper and garlic salt.

I've been using some diff vegs lately. Fresh green beans, fresh beets. I've really been enjoying avocado toast lately.
And raspberries. Spaghetti squash.

I found another bag of leftover turkey in the freezer, so it was turkey, mashed potatoes, and microwaved frozen vegetables for dinner. Frozen vegetables don't seem to cut it anymore since I learned how to steam fresh veggies.
