Young Deer Roamed Into Neighborhood

A couple of young deer were down my block when I went outside yesterday to run some errands. They ended up around the corner in front of this house. People were out taking pictures, and a couple had called the authorities, as there is a heavy traffic street on the next block. Not sure how they got back into the wildlife area, but they were gone when I returned.

Sea, They are such beautiful creatures. When we bought this old cabin, we waaay out in the country. Now there is new construction all around us, and the dear that my husband and I use to watch every day, are now all but gone. We now spend money we can't afford to be able to help 'our' dear in the lean months. Progress right? :tapfoot:

I love seeing them almost daily Ina, it's too bad that people are moving in building, interrupting natural animal life. I'm in favor of wildlife areas, like where these deer are from, where they can't be hunted, etc.

Hope they found their way back safely.
We had deer roaming around the area freely up until about 10 years ago, when house construction and new roads forced them deeper into the woods. Miss that.
