I love Emmylou's country stuff along with her voice. She has the distinct method of sliding from one syllable to the next, similar to a steel guitar. She never sang more beautifully than in her cover of Buck Owen's "Together Again".
I actually like Buck's original 1964 recording better, but that may also have something to do with one of the best steel guitar choruses every recorded-- by the great Tom Brumley.
