Just a plug for using your local library for digital books, movies, etc.

Most libraries are now in the Digital world where the patron can checkout ebooks, audiobooks, podcast, movies and even
just about every magazine that's out there.

The apps like Overdrive, and Libby (by Overdrive) and RBDigital make it easy to read, listen and enjoy.

This last one, magazines is something I just got involved with.
You download an app called RBDigital and you can select from hundreds of magazines to read just like having the latest
copy of your favorite mag delivered to your door.

eBooks and audiobooks can be checked out for up to 21 days and when done they just disappear from you reader and returned
to the library, no hassle.

Easy to get a library card from your local library and it will open up a world of reading and listening.

Give it a try.
 

Got a notification from the local library that the book I'd placed a Hold on was available.
Felt excited as I logged on and downloaded it.

Reminded me of the feeling when I found a good book on the Bookmobile growing up.
You could place the title of a book you wanted on a small slip of paper, give it to the helper
and if it was available, you would get it on the next visit.
You put your first name on the slip and on the next visit, you would tell them your name and they let you check it out.

It was like Magic to me.

Another free source provided by most Libraries for Newspapers and Magazines is through an App called ' PressReader' which features most Newspapers and Magazines.

I enjoy reading Newspapers from around the world.
They list just about every Newspapers published in every country.
Set up is very easy.
Go to your local Library web site to see if they offer this feature.

A way that I've found to be informed about what's happening around the World.
