Your Most Soothing Sounds

For me the sound of rain relaxes me. I listen it to it on one of my podcasts. It’s my go-to sound for background noise when trying to go to sleep. It’s more soothing in real life on a warm summer night with the rain hitting a hard roof.

One of the other podcast sounds I like is trains.

Rain, water and ocean sounds for me also. I run a white noise CD when I sleep. It's a very low tone and is supposed to be an air conditioner running type sound. I can't sleep without it now and it blocks out some noises. Not the gardeners or garbage truck when I used to work PM and sleep late but traffic and basic apartment noise.

I wish I could love that sound, but it reminds me of sitting in a boat and getting seasick. :D
Oh, that's a shame. There was only one time I felt seasick was on a passenger boat in the Bay of Biscay. There was a storm and onr by one the dining room was emptying. The steward, offered me anything I wanted since there was plenty left . Funny enough, I have never been sick on our boat!
