Your shoe closets, take a look maybe, how many pair of shoes, boots, slippers, etc. do you own?

I have 11 pair of assorted footware, each pair has a purpose. Even as a retired guy these boots are what I spend the most time in.

It’s time for me to purge the shoe rack again. I’m down to about 25 pairs. Mostly I wear Nike sneakers now and all the good leather flats just sit there. I’m obsessed with keeping them clean - it might rain - it’s too dusty - that road is too rough - I’m going to be doing a lot of walking. On go the sneakers.

November to sometime in March, I’ll be wearing boots.

Do you remember these ?.. I had these when I was very small

...when Daughter was just starting to walk I bought her her first made to measure leather shoes from Clarks.. they were a baby size 3... and she wore them while learning to walk so the toes of course were scuffed.. but I kept those first shoes, and this is them 45 years old now..

Do you remember Jumping Jacks? Those were my daughter's first real shoes.

6 pairs if you count my 1 pair of house slippers. The rest reside in the garage, since I don't wear shoes in the house.

After my first wife passed away(20 years ago) I had the task of emptying her closets and donated almost everything to a local women's shelter. I quit counting the shoes at 100 pair. She did love her some fancy shoes....

When inside, I'm barefoot a lot for doing yoga so I do not need all the shoes I have and have been donating some this season. Maybe others can use them.
