me too... and travel as @DebraMae said... I love to go new places... and as most of you know I am surrounded by rivers and streams here, so I'm always there ... and I have a house near the beach abroad...Another one for music! Music, dancing, walking by the river or at the coast. Meeting up with friends is good too

I used to like the whole travelling experience - even the airports! But, these days, I am happy to go on short trips in the UK although, with our weather, there is no guarantee of nice weather let alone sun!
I hope you get to your Spanish abode in the not too distant future. Do you have someone in Spain looking after it for you?

I have tenants in there Trish... and they're looked after by my friend who is a letting agent out there...
It's been a real roller coaster not being able to get out there since Covid... and now without my husband , and all the problems with the airports recently..I really haven't had the energy to face it all.. much as I would like very much to get out there.. I thought I might do it this year.. but I can I won't .. instead like you..I'm taking day trips around the Uk, well specifically England at the moment ..trying to get as much in before the kids break up from school... next trio hopefully will be Norfolk... I'm thinking I might get the train instead of driving for a change... I do love trains..
