Your vehicles. How often to you clean them inside and out?

OR do you prefer to do all cleaning at a carwash?

Do you prefer to do it all by hand at your home?

Or maybe you just never desire to clean your vehicles
at all?

DH hand washes them every week or two, depending on how they look.
The insides are kept clean and decluttered all the time. It helps that we never eat inside the vehicles,
it helps to not eat inside vehicles, I tend to grab a bite now and then and munch it down
while I am driving :( *It can make a little mess fast.

I always washed my vehicles by hand when I was younger but I no longer have the desire to do so, although I did wash my wheels by hand a couple of days ago. My car is white so it doesn't show dust. If we have a couple of days of rain I take it to the car wash when things clear up. Every few months I will wash it by hand and apply ceramic wax. The inside is pristine. I keep a microfiber towel inside to wipe down anything that gets dusty and I vacuum it every other day. It's my "garage queen".

This was handed down from my father, who wouldn't even let me put gum wrappers in the ashtray when I was a kid!

Hubby couldn't care less how dirty his car gets inside or out so sometimes I drive it on rainy days to keep my car clean. If I'm going to ride in it, it's going to the car wash before we head somewhere. :ROFLMAO:

I clean the exterior weekly if i’ve been out & about more than a couple of miles. Laugh if you must but sometimes i’ll clean half the car in the evening & the other half the following day. I do my car cleaning from the comfort of my garage with this No Rinse Wash I discovered on Amazon 10+ years ago. So easy & it keeps my auto looking like new with minimal effort. I don’t even use a bucket but rather mix it with water & spray it on. And like Seadoug i keep a microfiber cloth inside (as well as a Swiffer duster) to ward off boredom while stopped at red

We go through a car wash when we need it .. white car.
The interior stays fairly clean, depending on how often we take daughter's pooch for a ride. Anyone who has a Corgi would be able to relate (Corgi Glitter). We're taking her for a ride and walk in the country today.

In the last 24 hours we got a couple of light but clean rains. I suppose that the dust blown here from the SW for several days finally relented. A black car shows dust, and before the rain it was beginning to resemble a salted peanut.

With windows and moon-roof cracked to keep down overheating inside during sunny days, a lot of dust, tree pollen, and misc tree-flower shrapnel got in, so I've been vacuuming lately.

Nearby car wash price has doubled, so I rarely go there now unless a want a high pressure rinse after a spray of soap and light rinse by hand.

This hand-pumped gadget has a snow-foam nozzle and a rinse nozzle:

I clean my Explorer when it needs it, and right now, it needs it.
My pickup rarely gets washed, same with my Honda CRV. I drive them on dirt roads all the time, so they won't stay clean more than a few days.
I haven't had to wash my Jeep yet.
ETA: I wash them by hand, the nearest carwash is 45 miles away

Garage kept, takes about two months to accumulate enough dust to warrant going to car wash. There they offer a wax coating that does work to keep exterior looking showroom new. While there I use their vacuum on the floor mats since that is the only part that needs to be vacuumed. Minimum cost & no labor for me.

I put it through the car wash every 2 weeks, and clean the inside every month, I look after it better than the inside of my house to be honest it's 18 years old but looks as good as new
