ice scrapers for the vehicles, snow shovels, and the HOA service that does the driveway and sidewalk when accumulation is >2"

DH will occasionally use the leaf blower if the snow is light.

Manual snow shovels:

1) A plastic one to use on the Trex deck.
2) One with a metal edge for everywhere else.
3) One that has deeper edges for deeper snow, which I rarely use because of the weight.
4) A roof rake.

I plow my long drive using a tractor with a grader blade mounted on the back, I also use the tractor to plow a path from my barn up to the drive. Sidewalk by the house I use a snow shovel. I don't usually put salt down but will if I'm expecting company or a delivery, I don't want anyone falling on ice.

There’s only a short driveway and the sidewalk into the house. I’m not allowed to do it; I don’t do it right. Fine, if that’s what he thinks, I’m not going to argue. Apparently I’m incapable of washing floors too. There are some things I‘ve learned to live with. One of the things is that he’s an engineer and they’re a wee bit fussy. ;)

Back to the question. It’s just a plastic shovel.

Leaf blower? 😉🤭😂

A small shovel for front step, porch, deck steps, and walkway.

A larger bent handle shovel with a curved scoop shape. This shovel means I push the snow and don't have to lift the weight of the snow. I couldn't lift it anyway.

I find if the snow is light a broom I have for the yard work is a really quick snow remover.

Yes, I once used the leaf blower, too.

Finally, I've seen videos of people using a piece of wood to push the snow without lifting it, but for me, the wood is too heavy. My bent handled snow shovel works the same as the piece of wood.

I learned about spraying the shovel with cooking spray or some other oily coating. This means the snow, especially the heavier snow won't stick as much as it would w/out the spray.

I finally bought a long handled window scraper/brush for the cars. It means I don't get all that snow on me because reaching across the windshield and back window is easier with the long handle. My car is in the garage, so I rarely have to use the scraper.

I carry a De-icer spray for the car door lock, but alcohol or even hand sanitizer may work, too.

Hurry Up Spring!!!

One tiny pot with stuff to open your bicycle lock when it freezes and sleds and skates. I'm not gonna remove snow. That's a pity. Our city is spoiled anyway. My sister lives in a village where they don't throw salt on the road. It was 30 cm high on the roads. People had to walk. They couldn't use the car. Here I live in a flat next to a busy road and even the bike paths got salt. It's just snow in front of the flat. Nobody removes that.

I have also used the leaf blower, once, in light snow. If it's the wet, heavy snow it doesn't work very well.
