Your Writing Pen

I am not a fan of gel pens as the ink does not dry as quickly as an ordinary pen resulting in smudges, I doubt a left hand writer could use one.

Neither do I like one with a cap, give me an ordinary ink pen with a clicker.

I tend to use stick pens at home as they are cheaper, but never leave home without a shorter, retractable pen in my shirt pocket. Their clips hold on pretty well. Gel pens tend to be a bit messy, and I don't need that. I can even remember using a cartridge-style fountain pen in the long-ago, together with felt-tip pens...

I'm a Papermate fan. I have small hands and they are skinny enough to fit comfortably in my hands. I also LOVE Papermate mechanical pencils.

And that Police Pen begs the question, how did you acquire that?

Yes erasable pen...it works well too...

the police mutual pen was given to me by a police officer member of my family... it's a pen from the assurance/welfare company which covers current and retired officers..

I use cheap gel pens but my favorite has always been the Papermate Profile for its smooth writing.

I have a couple of Montblanc pens that I use whenever I actually need to use a pen.

I used to journal a lot after my husband and daughter passed away. Filled up five composition books a month for a while there and a good comfortable pen was essential. Don't journal much anymore though.

I have a good fountain pen that gets used when I send out Christmas cards. Otherwise I use a rollerball, …. or whatever is handy.

I've been using a clicky one that I got from an auto repair shop years ago. I bought some other ones online and you have to keep scribbling to get the ink to look dark so that's why I reverted back to the first one.

I also have a couple of old BIC permanent fine point markers that my mother used when her vision started going bad.

I don't think that I've ever bought a pen, I've received a few nice pens as gifts but those sit unused in the bottom of a desk drawer.

I LOVE a GOOD writing pen.. I collect pens. If I visit an office and there are a display of pens, I ask if I can take one. @Gary O' I see you are a pen Whore.. I would say I am a pen Prostitute but I get my pens for free..

me too, I hate to use those beautiful new pens in their presentation boxes that I get as gifts , but thinking about it, that's crazy really, I should start using them

I always used a fountain pen till after I retired,
But also used a mechanical/propelling pencil
and the pencil is still used.

I don't write and post anymore, Email took care
of that, so I do the crosswaord puzzles and shopping
lists in pencil.

I do of course still have to write sometimes and for that
I have a ballpoint, an expensive gift from my son a few
years ago.
