Laws are going to have to be established, don't you think? YouTube has AI guidelines, but I'm talking about legislation. There's going to be laws about it in the near future, particularly in journalism. I mean, it'll probably start there.Unfortunately, it seems about 20% of it is AI Slop now. I watch YouTube almost exclusively and love it. However, the impact of AI generated content is ruining many parts of the internet. Disturbing, but not downright scary like it is about to become!
Currently, YouTube creators who use AI have to note in their video descriptions "some content is altered or generated" or something to that effect, or else risk having a strike and/or their video taken down, and shorts are suppose to use a program logo or other conspicuous indication that the content contains AI-generated images, but I don't always see it on shorts that I know dang well are AI, because some of the people in it have 7 fingers or their leg passes through a chair or whatever.
