For the Northern Hemisphere anyway.What are you looking forward to?
 

Hopefully, this will be my last full summer in Austin. The gf will be retiring next April, and we'll escape Hell Town, Austin in its 100°+ summers, and head up north to cooler temps, if they're to be found. We'll take the RV, so it may be that some very interesting times are ahead.
 

I was looking forward to wearing my summer clothes but, since I put my fur lined boots away and washed all my white summer trousers we’ve gone from sunshine and double figure temperatures to hail storms and 4 degrees !
 
I'm looking forward to going abroad to Spain and Italy , and I'm also looking forward to my knee being fixed so I can get back to hiking the mountains as I always do when I'm overseas.... that may not happen sadly but I'm hoping!!

Saw that on the weather forecast Wren..they say you have snow there.:rolleyes:. we had a little bit of icy rain yesterday, but the sun is out again today, albeit really cold!!

The sound of leather on willow and explaining to folk from across the pond how you can play for five days and nobody wins..
 
I look forward to opening my windows to get the fresh air,wearing my shorts/knit tops,taking longer walks,being outside sitting in our community garden either reading or talking with other residents.Sue
 
I'm looking forward to packing up the shovels, scrapers and ice melt and going driving again and hiking and taking pics. :love_heart:

Once school lets out it means I will get to spend more time with my 10 and 8 year old grand daughters. We will be taking a vacation to the beach as well this Summer.
 
Let's see, this summer...........sometime in June or July, calling a moving company to get our furniture to take to Colorado, then packing up the Durango, turning in our apartment keys and heading down the freeway towards northern Colorado, to live. Making nightly stops to sleep, including one at a casino in St Louis. Then, once there and settled in, getting our boat out on a lake, going to a pro-rodeo and perhaps going to a REAL Country-Western nightclub for some 2-stepping. Also, looking very forward to seeing field after field of corn, cattle grazing, round bales of hay and tractors.

But, would have to say that one of the biggest things we are looking forward to is...……..summers without humidity!

Have you found a place to rent yet? Where are the movers dropping off your furniture? Are you renting a storage unit?

I love downtown St. Louis....spent lots of time there when both kids were going to Dental school.

Downtown near the river is quaint...lots of fun bars and restaurants.

Its been about 20 some years since I was there though. Only Casino I remember at the time was on the river...I didn’t do well at all, lol.
