Firstly the Blitz is an irrelevance made much of by the London based press, but pretty much a sideshow. Vast areas of the UK never even heard, let alone saw, a German aircraft. We regularly dropped more bombs on Berlin in one night than were dropped on the whole of the UK during the whole of the war!

I believe you to be wrong in your assumption that the UK will survive.

Ireland will unite, Scotland will become independent and England will be left with Wales as its last vestige of Empire.

The ancient Chinese curse is upon us, we live in interesting times!

The British prime minister is responsible for the fiasco Brexit has been. She has gone about it in totally the wrong way. The EU is destined for failure and we need to get out as soon as possible. (I thought political themes were not allowed on here)
