What would be the worst name you could give to a child today?

Either because the name has effectively died out or it's just plain stupid!

Mason Dash Disick. as in what one of the Kardashians called their son
wonder what sort of names he gets called at school

Gaylord (Male Christian name)

From an English surname which was derived from Old French gaillard "high-spirited, boistrous".

Gay !! When I was at school the name Gay was popular (in fact one of my classmates was called Gay) but since it's been adopted to mean homosexual , I would imagine it will become extinct very soon as a name for a child!!

Oh, lord! I was a teacher and the names just got weirder and weirder. My favorite for poor choice was Justn. No, that's not a typo. As in Just N. And he and his mom were adamant that it was spelled that way. So I figured that, in the future, every time that boy filled out a job application, any potential employer would figure he couldn't even spell his own name correctly. Well, bless his heart. Every year I had girls named Brittany, but they all spelled their names differently. Britney. Britteny. Britni. Britany. It was hard to keep up!

I always thought that Ima Hogg, known as "The First Lady of Texas", was a cruel name to hang on a child.

From Wiki-

"Ima Hogg's first name was taken from The Fate of Marvin, an epic poem written by her uncle Thomas Hogg. She endeavored to downplay her unusual name by signing her first name illegibly and having her stationery printed with "I. Hogg" or "Miss Hogg".

I hate my middle name. I've hated it since I found out what it is. I have never used it, only the initial "C". And NO! I won't tell you what it is. I don't want anyone to know what it is. And I want that *****ing name to die out.

True story. I had an English professor in college. He was head of the dept. He was Dean Bosom. His wife was "Oafie". That was short for Ophelia. YUP.
