Whatever time you choose to arise, what do you do as you plow into the new day?

I usually have several cups of coffee and tell myself get going~

I'm up way before this;

By the time ol' sol gets up, my coffee is steaming in the mug

as I'm sipping, seeing and hearing the day waken, I'm thinking about several things

...but gratefulness is always the main reflection

somewhere around then, I get on here

then get sleepy

then trudge back to the pillow top to engage in sweet conscious to drifting off slumber

nuthin' quite like it

I usually get up when it's time to let the doggie out for his morning break, that's when I open the living room drapes and let light and sunshine into the house and give the dog and the cat the option of glancing out the window at passing creatures or people. Then I let the dog back in and hit the bed for a little while longer until I'm ready to start the day.

I wash my face, brush my teeth, brush my hair and go out to the driveway to get the paper for my husband. I then give the cat and dog a little treat, and pour a cup of coffee for me and my hubby, usually accompanied by a tiny seeded 'muffin' (Aussie Bite). I usually drink my morning coffee at the computer while checking my email, etc., don't generally go past 2 cups for the day. After a bit of cleaning up, coffee pot, etc., I get ready to take the dog to the park for his morning walk.

I get up around 5 AM. Other than that, I'm not comfortable divulging. I think I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable, in here, with a lot of personal information questions. I guess the one about what's in one's will put me on guard. It'll pass, perhaps. Then again, I always was amazed how so many younger folks shared personal info on Facebook, and that was one reason I never got into that scene. Now, I'm feeling that in the context of SF, too much personal info is being asked for. Obviously nobody is forced to put that info online, and I think, for now, I'll be more on guard, in here. Again, that will question kind of troubled me.

Have to agree a bit with tree guy. Some of the queries have been getting more personal than I either care to respond to, or care what someone else might be doing. So often I just don't read them or respond.

1. Urinate
2. Let Dino out.
3. Pour a mug of coffee.
4. Let Dino in.
5.Start reading the daily newspaper.(Especially the obits.)

6.Put fresh water in Dino's water dish.
7. If nobody's nearby, I may even flatulate.
8. Check to see if the lady next door is wearing a bra while raking her lawn.
9.
8. Open a window and turn on a ceiling fan.
9. Then throw out the rest of the beans.
10. Check with you later.

Too much info!

When I first got on here, I found more generalized questions and discussions. I had a good time. Then, a few people showed up, one in particular, who started posting personal questions that raised my privacy invasion radar to the point where I asked that person if he/she was writing a book about the habits of older folks. Along the way, one poster, whom I suspected of being on here to gather info, did cop to the same, and disappeared. Now, I'm not so sure that person isn't back with another user name. While I don't want to appear overly paranoid, I really do want to caution all of the trusting souls on here to, perhaps, ask yourself why the same posters ask increasingly personal questions and if you really want to further whatever agenda they may have by answering the same. There is currently a thread asking about what's in your will. I advise against answering it, for many reasons.

's okay, TG

none of us here has much time left to have to deal very long with a bad reputation

I usually wake between 6 and 7 am, get up wash face and hands, brush teeth, make tea and go back to bed with my iPad, log in check e mails etc. up again around 8 or 9 depending on the weather and any arrangements I have for the day, breakfast, tidy up, prepare vegetables or salad for the evening meal, then shower, blow dry hair, make up and see which way the winds blowin’...

Get up early around 4 am
i don’t brush my teeth unti after breakfast

first thing I do is let Pickles out, while he’s out I get my coffee, get his water and food and then sit down with my iPad to drink my coffee.

After my coffee is finished I make my breakfast, get back on my iPad to eat that.

After that I shower and brush teeth and get ready for going to Curves...but today

I have a fasting blood test...ugh.

They don’t open until 8 and it’s only 5:19 am now....I can manage the no breakfast but the coffee not so much.

I have to do it though because I’ve blown it off for awhile now and have an appt with dr next week.

Daily routine is get up, get dressed, grab some orange juice, and go for a half hour walk (w/Lil'Bear) around the grounds of my complex (park area in the center of the complex).
It can be 5am or up to 7am, but doggy & I do this daily, rain or shine.

Weekdays I'm up at the same time every day, just like when I worked. I drive my grand-daughter to high school, stop and grab a couple of donuts for the wife and I, and return home to start the day. On the week-end I'm up whenever the spirit moves me. :)
My wife's an "earlier" riser and usually hands me my cup of coffee while I'm still trying to "clear the cobwebs".

When my feet hit the floor, I grab my glasses and head for the computer. I turn on CNN on my computer to see the world is still on the right axis, briefly read the headlines, then make a cup of tea. Afterwards I head to the bathroom, brush teeth, shower. I seldom dress or make coffee until my roommate gets up anywhere between nine and ten a.m. Once in a while a little earlier or later. I then make coffee. Then she will make breakfast or brunch. I dress, check my oxygen, ready to face the world. Sometime I go to the front door and growl a time or two.

My dog often wakes me up by scratching on the side of the bed frame...she wants her breakfast~Also, I often drink most of the pot of coffee..I make it on the weak side because I like to drink coffee for an hour or so. :) Sounds like you have a very interesting morning routine. :)
