​What would be the worst thing someone could give you as a gift?
 

Tickets to a horse race, bullfight or rodeo. (of course, no one who knows me would be that stupid).
 
The worst thing someone could give me? A gift box of bath products...lotion, soap, etc.


Now, the very BEST thing would be a gift card to AMAZON!

Yeah, it's often a regift, OR the person has run into CVS and quickly grabbed a shower/bath kit. No thought has been put into a gift the recipient might need/want. They might as well grab a pack of gum and a couple of candy bars. :rolleyes:
 
Actually someone might need or want a nice shower/bath gift. I’ve known people who could barely afford food so such a gift would be more than welcome. Plus people on food stamps, government assistance, etc. have to pay cash for personal products. The shelters always want such “gifts”.
 
A book proselytizing their own religion, which I don't believe in.

Or, second choice, a free luncheon which turns out to be sales pitch for a time share company.

In other words, don't give me gifts with agendas.

Actually when people give a gift they know whether the recipient can afford food or soap.

However, the gift giver might consider giving the recipient a card that says "A shower/bath set has been donated in your name to xxxxx Shelter".
 
What a tough question!! lol i am sitting here trying to think of something....oh wait, it just came to me.... a puppy, kitty, fish, bird etc..... I have enough to take care of already.....
 
Tote bags! ... the kind that you get when you make a clothing purchase .. I've been given enough free ones to open a shop!

At first, I interpreted it as, "Hey, are you suggesting that I smell?"
 
It was Xmas time. My ex and I decided we were not going into debt getting expensive frivolous presents-only practical ones. She had two cats and was freaked out by the "cat" smell. She had those plug in deodorizer things all through the house. Every time I came in, I got grilled about did I notice any odors. She had this thing about the odors. So, I decided to get her an expensive deodorizer/air ionizer thing, which was supposed to remove any odor whatsoever. Hey, it was practical, like she WANTED. Well, Xmas comes. And I can't tell you how happy her face was when she unwraped my gift. Maybe because she wasn't. I worked with my ex's best friend. When I walked into work, she was rolling on her side, laughing, "You got her a whaHHAHAHAHA" That's the last ime I buy practical and inexpesive. Yeah RIGHT!!!.
