Do you have or have you ever had, a nickname or a pet name ?

For some some reason at school I was called Polly, one old boyfriend called me Dolly but I’m usually called by a shortened version of my real name

My mom called me a brat and still does.
My husband calls me a shorter version of my full name as do most others.

No, I've never had a nickname although my son did call me Rudolph yesterday after my nose got sunburnt.

Yes my uncle / aunt who I’ve mentioned I lived with as a child for two, years nicknamed me Bloss he never called me by my name

Other than my grandpa who called me Jujubee (he said I was a sweet little busy bee and it was his favorite candy), I've never had a nickname.

Right then Polly,in school I was Twig which is a corruption of my Gaelic surname -and many people called Twigg share that names original root.

Not for the last 60 years. I had 2 nicknames in the Navy. One used by southern shipmates and the other by north-easterners.

No real nickname but a variation on my name and I didn't ask to be called it...Ruthie...people often start calling me that after awhile...I don't mind..
