Ok, fine.To me it means, I've done everything I can to help and now it is up to you to decide what you are going to do or how you are going to handle the situation.
Hahaha. To me it means - It’s all up to you!
I hear this often whenever I ask my husband questions about what we are going to do, where we are going to go, what we are going to eat etc., It usually means that he doesn’t want to make any of the decisions and would rather that I did.
He says the reasoning is that if anything goes wrong that I can’t blame him.
Hes no dummy.
It does sound to me as something negative to say to someone else, as in I had my say and you can like it or not and I really no longer care about whatever it is, and now it's all up to you as to the outcome. I don't see it as a positive thing to say.
Very strange take on that phrase, as I see it, but we all have our differences. The phrase you describe would be, "You can take it, or leave it," if I go by your negative spin.
To me it means, I've done everything I can to help and now it is up to you to decide what you are going to do or how you are going to handle the situation.
very true!I agree.
Same with managing an illness there is only so much a doctor, therapist, nutritionist, etc... can do. At some point, it's all up to you to do the hard work/make the changes in your life to get better or manage your situation.
Huh, sounds about right!Somebody quit
