Are men more interested in things and women more interested in people?

I read once about the way Mother Nature wired the inner male brain of any species; specifically, on how it reacts to females - any age, any relationship, any situation. It depends on how likely he is to achieve sexual union with her.

I don't think that is a fair comparison of homo sapiens with other species. Humans have a higher developed brain and are not compelled by only physical needs. And that also leaves out that females also are interested in "sexual union". We may be mammals but not animals.
 
My comment spoke to the workings of the inner brain which is where a basic instinct originates. The outer brain is tempered by society and culture to make us conform to acceptable behavior ............... or, in some cases, not.

I still don't don't believe that the inner workings of a man's brain is to f..k every female they see. That's just plain wrong.

I never said it did. The inner brain/the lizard brain/the 'instincts' brain simply checks each female for the viability and acts accordingly. The outer brains of highly evolved individuals have conditioned the mind to know what is acceptable behavior in today's society and how to act accordingly.

I understand what you are trying to say. But I don't understand your point. What is it?

Okay, let me add this further. What you seem to be saying is that every man is a potential rapist and would be except that society holds him back. Do you understand what I'm thinking you are saying?

Okay, let me extend this further. It's like you're saying that men are the sexual ones and women are not. That is what has repressed women from their own sexuality to believe that it is men that are the ones with their sexual needs and it is women that are only interested there to satisfy men. Wrong. Woman do have their sexual needs, too. They aren't there only for men. They are there for themselves, also.

This is a huge generalisation but my wife is more focussed on detail and Im more big picture. Isnt there a saying about "cant see the forest for the trees"? Though I admit that sounds disrespectful to women.
The world needs both points of view of course/both styles of thinking.
In elementary school teaching, I noticed that female teachers were often 100 steps ahead of me as they thought of everything. And were natural at multi tasking. Kids like attention to detail as they feel nurtured.
 
I can do both quite comfortably with my mind which switches from literal to lateral in the blink of an eye. Most empathetic people can. When one has a mind which absorbs more info than 80% of the population, such a skill is essential in order to avoid constant mental/emotional stress, and eventual burnout.
