This is my first attempt at participating in a forum. I am in my late 60's, have 3 wonderful grandchildren, allot of good friends, have just begun to blog, like to volunteer at my church, have attended some life long learning classes and like to do Coursera classes on the internet.

So nice of you to say hello. I am from Pennsylvania. I have always wanted to visit the Great State of Texas. What are the best places to include on a self guided tour?

If you have never been here before, I suggest stopping off in San Antonio. The Alamo is there, and if you wish to see the state capitol, Austin is a short trip just above San Antonio. You folks must be going to do a little traveling. Have fun.

I am in the early stages of planning a family trip for my 70th birthday next summer. We are talking about the possibility of renting a motorhome...now sure because I have twin grandsons that will be 12 and a granddaughter that will 14. My sone want to do a Disney Cruise. I'm still looking.

I guess I'm with you Vixen. I just jumped right in before looking around. Trusting I did the right thing. Today is my first day on this forum.

I'm new to this forum too. It kinda feels like home already.
I look at the main forum topics and clicked on whatever interested me. I've posted a few times but mostly I like reading and enjoying the company :D
Welcome, Carol
