My little guy [Spike} had his way of welcoming me home after a trip as well.
Before the trip, while packing, I had to pack in the laundry room, and shut the door. If I didn't he would sneak into,.....say the bedroom and 'unpack' what i had packed. He would then climb in the bag,....and of course I'd find him when I walked in for bed. All my skivvies & socks, all over the floor LOL!!!
He's gone now & I still miss him.
