Screen legend,Sophia Loren turns 85 today
A couple movies I've liked over the yrs:
Houseboat '58 costar with Cary Grant
"Arabesque" '66 co star Gregory Peck
"Grumpier Old Men' '95,she played Walter Matthau's 'love interest'
She won Best Actress Oscar for her performance in"Two Women" '60

Sadly Sassy, you might have a bit of difficulty along those lines. He (Cary) and Randolph Scott were quite a number at one time (much to my horror and surprise). Randolph Scott was one of my early heroes as a hard-bitten westerner in so many movies that I watched as a youngster. My wife showed me the article once in a book that she had, "The Man Who Named Rock Hudson". Quite enlightening about many of the Hollywood seductresses and "manly" men.

Yes @DaveA . My mother had a crush on Tyrone Power...if she only knew.

Always thought she was pure class ..... I borrowed her last name to use as a middle name for my younger daughter.
And then my DIL thought it was so nice, that she used it for my oldest granddaughter's middle name.
Sophia lives on in my family .....:) ... (well Loren does)

“Sex appeal is 50 percent what you’ve got—and 50 percent what people think you’ve got. Since most people think I’ve got more than I really have, I try not to disillusion them.” - Sophia Loren
Well, bless her pulsating...heaving heart

No delusions here

I was in many of her movies, if I recall correctly
Hard to remember back to my preteens, but I was there, especially in English and history class

Yes I was
