Prince Andrew's problems from association with Epstein.

As for Prince Andrew, I only know what the press
say about him.

I was in the crowd when he did the official opening
of Mount Pleasant Airport in the Falkland Islands, a
project that I worked on, at that time, I thought that
he was very charismatic and a very good speaker, he
had been a helicopter pilot during the Falklands war
and was very well thought of in those days.

Then the rumours started about hime, his marriage broke
apart, but they still lived together, strange, that supported
the rumours of course, they are still fairly often together.

But I don't know anything definite.

Mike.

Lewkat said ‘If he had sex with a teenager, he is guilty of statutory rape. That's a felony in the U.S‘

These people think they are above the law, unfortunately, in most cases, they are .....nothing will come of this

He gets no allowance from the Civil List (the Royal pay packet), the only allowance he gets is from his mother, and that must come from her personal account, not from her own Civil List allowance.

He can join his wife as a drone, dependent on others.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over his finances. I remember reading that his mother is the wealthiest person on earth. If that's true (or even if it's close), somehow I don't think she'd let him starve.

Here's the most bizarre defense I've ever seen about anything. For some reason, I thought it was really funny.

What about the girls and women who get mixed up with the likes of Epstein and his ilk? Nasty media grabbers in the main out to get a bob or two from the publicity.

I have never liked Andrew and didnt like Fergie for that matter back then.

I was wondering if the Queen is cutting financial ties with Prince Andrew in an effort to make him judgment proof in the event of a civil suit for damages from one or more of the young women involved.

I can't for the life of me understand why Prince Andrew granted this interview with his background and connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

I believe Margaret could have married Townsend if she gave up her title. She chose her title.
I agree, she chose her title over the ''love of her life'' and because she was miserable without him she led a promiscuous and drunkard and irresponsible lifestyle. I do feel sorry for her, though, since Prince Charles was allowed to marry his Camille even though SHE was divorced.

From Wikipedia = Divorcees suffered severe disapproval in the social atmosphere of the time and could not re-marry in the Church of England if their former spouse was still alive. Their relationship was considered especially controversial as Margaret's sister, Queen Elizabeth II, was the Church's Supreme Governor

Andrew knows who all or many of the big shots are who were customers of Epstein's, like Clinton and lord knows who else.

That woman, Epstein's procurer Ghislaine Maxwell, seems to be in hiding. No one can find her, last I knew.

Maybe the FBI is more interested in names who may be connected with Epstrein's phony (IMO) suicide than they are about arresting Andrew?

Maybe she'll also be knocked off and they'll call it a suicide? She knows as much or more than Epstein. What makes me believe that Epstein was murdered is the fact that the two guards both "happened" to goof off the job at the SAME TIME. Not sure, but I think even the cameras were off or not working, can't remember.

Alot of other men have been put on display now..........another jimmy saville episode i guess...🙄🤔

Let us remember that, as yet, no credible formal complaints have been made , either here or in the US, just press reports and conjecture.

Unlike US diplomats and their families, who seem to be able to kill UK citizens with impunity, Andrew is no above the law and can be extradited.

Forget all the hype, let's try a bit of due process here.

If your police refuse to take action any aggrieved party can bring a private prosecution, as people, not necessarily citizens, or even residents, often do. Our independent judiciary will ensure she gets a fair hearing, just as they did with the recent proroguing of Parliament when they did not exactly tell the Queen she was wrong, but told the Prime Minister he had given wrong advice, and reversed the Queen's decision.

Our set up is very different from yours!

It should also be remembered that when his father, Prince Phillip, then a Gteek god of a naval lieutenant, was First to'd by Louis Mountbatten (Phillip's uncle) to fix his interest with the then Princess Elizabeth she was thirteen years old, and, even by the standards of the rime, a very Young and innocent thirteen year Old, so you might say it's in his blood?

OOOH Laurie.. lets' not exaggerate too much.. The then princess Elizabeth was 13 years old when she met the 19 years old naval Office Prince Philip.. but there was certainly no physical romance, she sent him the occasional romantic letter.... not until after she was 18 years old did they meet and have a romantic liaison..

I didn't say that there was any physical romance, simply that Phillip was told by the head of his family, Louis Battenberg to fix his interest with her. A dashing Young Greek Prince, even then fighting her daddy's enemies would have no difficulty going that, particularly when ,most of the opposition was faffing back on Dunkirk, driving corvettes in the North Atlantic, ot zooming around the skies over Kent!

Prince Louis saw a chance to restore the fortunes of the Battenbergs in the palaces of Europe after they had been eclipsed by the Saxe Coburg descendants of Victoria.

That he did not succeed (the original intention was that Phillip should be King Consort) was due to the young Elizabeth and her mother, Elizabeth of Glamis. She, in fact, became his implacable enemy after he insulted the King.

Sorry, particularly to our American friends for boring them with family affairs, but don't get me started on minor German Royals!
