Prince Andrew's problems from association with Epstein.

It's for this reason, more than threat of personal legal entanglements, that he needs to stick close to home. I read months ago that he was distressed about never being able to visit the US again because he might be questioned by authorities re Epstein. It's more like he should never visit because of who in all of Epstein's circle might be able to get their hands on him. And I imagine the things he knows about that circle extends beyond the US. He comes across as weak and unpredictable to me ...and likely to some of the people he could squeal on as well. His troubles extend beyond his Mother's "firing" him, his reduced finances or the FBI. It's probably best that he stays home for a good, long while.

That's also gone. The Queen has pulled the plug on his figurehead position for that charity and now it's to be renamed just PITCH rather than Pitch & Palace...

Also it has been reported that the upcoming big celebratory party for PA's 60th Birthday has now been cancelled.

That would have been a major decision for the Palace to do because these things are arranged and people are invited sometimes years in advance

Quite true. It's not only the FBI who wishes to speak to him, but there are those who would like to silence him. Best he keeps a very low profile from here on out.

The FBI are at perfect liberty to speak to him, either in person or by getting the Met to put questions to him on their behalf. That facility is available to any law enforcement agency in the US. They may also, I repeat, seek extraction. He is not above the law, and is subject to due process.

Your people should stop shouting about it and take some a tiln

Why is everyone so critical of only Andrew's visits with Epstein. Last time I looked, Clinton's name was bandied about. There are many others, I would assume but Andrew, Pres. Trump, and former Pres. Clinton's name seem to float to the surface. Are we to assume that they're all "kiddie fiddlers" to use the British term? If we think it of one we have to think it of all, and that seems to be a leap without actual proof.

...as was Woody Allen's name (complete with pictures of him leaving Epsteins' abode after a supposed dinner party ).. and no-one would associate HIM with alleged kiddie fiddling would they?...oh wait!!:oops:

I'm sure lots of big names were involved with Epstein, that's why he got eliminated, trying to keep the lid on Pandora's Box. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those names are bishops and cardinals and many billionaires.

One of the young women accusers has already said that there were Senators, Prime ministers, Royalty , ( British and otherwise), religious leaders and celebrities , and others all involved....and I believe it.

however I'm sure that they must just be as terrified to say exactly who in case they meet the same end as Epstein
 
It is very suspicious that both officers were goofing off and not checking every 30 minutes and that the suicide watch cellmate was transferred out the day before and there was no replacement.

The NY Times =
Mr. Epstein was placed on a 24-hour suicide watch in a hospital wing until July 30. He was subsequently required to have a cellmate, and was assigned to the cell closest to the correction officers’ desk in the special housing unit.
But on Aug. 9, the day before Mr. Epstein was found dead, his cellmate was transferred out in a “routine, prearranged transfer,” the indictment said.

No other male associated with Epstein has done a TV interview about it. Andrew brought heightened scrutiny on himself by doing that and doing it poorly.
 
I do think that many other high profile people were involved but the OP was about Prince Andrew.

I also think that many parents and in some cases the girls themselves literally have some skin in the game. It is unreasonable for me to believe that these young women were all under the impression that the way to become an international supermodel was to begin sleeping with high profile men from around the world.

There is more than enough criminal conduct and poor judgment to go around in this incident.

Same here. Some of the women's stories ring true as abuse, some don't. Virginia Roberts is the most outspoken, yet made a call to Epstein saying she'd met someone and wasn't coming back and he replied "Have a nice life." Also, she said she requested the photo with Prince Andrew as a memento to show her mom ...a teenager in London with adults she's been with for awhile working as a massage therapist with no credentials??? That would ring alarm bells with most moms. Her dad struck me as squirrelly too in his interview.

not with the girls, but there is a photo of Woody Allen and his missus leaving the mansion after a small dinner party at which PA allegedly attended .....and yes I've also seen that painting of Clinton. That alone is weird to have on someone else's wall..much less the home of a convicted sex offender , and where all his guests could see it, which kind of implies to me that Clinton would know that everyone who was likely to be in the house were either birds from the same feathered nest or those who worked for Epstein ..
 
IMO the painting of Clinton was a not so subtle reminder to Epstein's guests and to Bill Clinton of the power that Epstein held over them.

It would be interesting to unravel the possible blackmail/extortion/abuse of power that Epstein was able to enjoy as a result of his connections with these high profile people.

I doubt that we will ever know the full extent of what went on.
 
Wasn't there a photo of now pres.Trump and Epstein, drinks in hand, all smiles with a group of young ladies across the room?

And I hadn't seen the Woody Allen/Epstein photos, but either none or all should be mentioned, at least all that are known to the general public.

Sadly we tend to pick and choose among the "ne're do wells" when we get to discussing these situations. When you go back over the posts, it makes you wonder if other factors enter in, to cloud our memories in some cases and not in others. Just a thought.
