Amazon alert. Check the paper work.

I just opened an Amazon package. Noticed wrong item sent. Pulled up my order and found that in addition to sending wrong variety of item - the item shown in photo and sent - did not agree with the Item Description.

Also, the "subscribe" button had been checked, something I never do. Don't like automatic deliveries of anything. If I want it, I'll order it.

I realize holiday time calls for extra inexperienced help but this was a web site error. Experienced workers should be doing that.

Good luck with your issues @gennie ....

Amazon is on my 'bad list' for December. .. I will not order from them this month, as they are just overwhelmed with orders and cannot handle deliveries like they promise. .. supposed to be door delivery at my apartments, but this month, it's dump everything for this location in the Management office. and it becomes a guessing game for everyone.

I wrote off their Prime service too .... one or two day delivery ... no way! .... and they have a warehouse just a few miles away.

I just got my delivery of supplements. And they sent me an email that they delivered and this time even sent me a photo of the package in my porch. Is this something new? I just love shopping with Amazon and Walmart now. Mostly with Walmart I buy cat food and cat litter and a few hygiene items like toothpaste and such. Have not tried ordering groceries yet.

I bought from Amazon a couple of weeks ago and was
automatically given a free 30 day trial to Prime which I
didn't want, I waited till the item arrived "Free Postage",
then I went to their site and cancelled the trial, I can still
get the benefits for the free trial period.

Not really, they're told to do it in training, but mostly they forget. I've had a few.

be careful of prime mike...they just deduct he prime money straight out of your account !!

I will only use Amazon as a last resort. The reason is because the last time I ordered something from them, they kept pushing the Amazon Prime. I thought I would never get that order placed without them automatically subscribing me to Prime. I don't appreciate them or anyone subscribing me to a service without my permission and that's what they were trying to do. I haven't ordered from them since then and won't if I can find it anywhere else.

I‘ve had that happen a few times. If Amazons truck is delivering you can follow the truck on a map n watch him stopping for his deliveries so you know exactly when your pkg will arrive....Lol

They ask me every time I order, I just click on ''no thanks'' and it takes me to the next page.

I've had great success with Amazon, and they are my first choice in ordering almost anything. I am a Prime member (the streaming TV shows are worth the ten bucks a month, never mind the free two-day delivery!). Everything always arrives within 2 days, sometimes to my amazement in 1 day! I use them to order even small items, such as envelopes and glue, which I've gotten from them recently. No shipping charge, so why not?

I just did order something that was sent out yesterday, and I got an email saying it will arrive between December 27 - January 9 . I was surprised, but went back and looked at the ad, and it is not a Prime item. That's how long regular items take. Fortunately, it's a gag clothing item, nothing important, and I can wait for it.

I found a lot of times Amazon will give a delivery date, but it gets here much sooner. They probably feel it's better to be earlier than later than the delivery date promised. I once went to a very popular restaurant and they said 45 minutes wait, when they called us after only 20 minutes we were impressed. If they had promised 20 minutes wait and we had to wait 45 minutes, we would have been pissed.

I can't easily get out these days so when I did my Christmas shopping it was probably 75% Amazon. I made use of their Prime trial so I'd be sure to get it in time to check each item carefully and wrap the packages. I'll be going tomorrow to get some gift cards to go along with some of the gifts and then I'll be done. Had a problem with Amazon a couple of years ago when I bought a mattress and bed frame. Frame came, no problem. Waited a month for the mattress. Spent that month making about a dozen phone calls to find out what was going on. Finally it came but the order wasn't right. They sent 2 mattresses and frames. Week later they came out to deliver a 3rd one. Go figure....

I have their Email telling me that Prime is cancelled Charry
saying that I will not be charged.

I don't buy much from them and don't want their TV as I am
happy with the services that I have.

Catlady you are lucky to have a "No Thanks" button, we don't
have that option, at least I couldn't find any.

With the orders before my last one, I had been having the "NO Thanks" button but this time, it wasn't there. It was as if a software change had occurred.

Mike ,we have ‘continue without Amazon Prime’.But there seems no limit to how many free trials you can get.
