How often do you clean your primary bathroom?

We keep the bathroom that's part of our master suite pretty clean. We are both fastidious people, so one or the other of us will wipe down the counter, vacuum the floor, swish out the toilet, wipe the sink and shower down...whatever needs to be done as we see it. He has pet peeves and so do I. He can't stand for the sink to not be clean (it's a vessel type, and a bronze color so all the toothpaste dribbles and soap drips show up immediately) and I'm anal about spots on the mirror and the toilet. I would guess it gets a spot clean several times a week by one or both of us

And then every month or so, give or take, I'll get in there and sanitize everything...wipe down and disinfect every surface, scrub the baseboards, wash or replace the shower curtain liner, scrub the floor etc.

How about you?

Oh I know!

I am sensitive to the diversity of people and lifestyles and circumstances here, and always phrase my queries thoughtfully to cover every contingency when I pose a question for the forum folks.

And whether it’s obvious or not, I gave thought to the inclusion of the word ”primary,” adding the erasing then adding again. And before that it read “main bathroom” tacking on the additional phrase “if you have more than one.” Then deleting that. Then deleting main. And so on

My takeaway is that I can’t please everyone all the time! 🤦🏼‍♀️
 
I do whatever needs to be done each time I use it and actually clean it once a week.

Daily I wipe down the shower, wipe out the sink and give the toilet a quick once over as needed.

Once a week I do the daily routine, wipe down the mirror, sink, tub, toilet, and tile walls, sweep and mop the floor.

It only takes about 5 minutes a day and 15-20 minutes once a week.

The worst part is standing on my head to clean behind the toilet, I wish my bathroom had one of these sleek back to the wall straight sided toilets.

Oh my, do you have to torture me! I would LOVE to have one of those. I hate having to clean the sides "shelves" where the dirt and dust accumulates. I have two bathrooms, one has a tub and the other a walk-in shower. I am not anal about cleaning either, it's only me anyway and does not get that dirty, I just clean them when I feel like it. I just swish the toilet when it needs it.
 
I’m going to look Into getting one of those type of toilets installed next year @Aunt Bea ,my home is 14 years old so we have two toilets / bathrooms ,I use the en-suite hubby the other one
He says It saves him altering the hight of the shower rose all,the time by him using the other bathroom he’s 6’2 I’m 5 ‘1 :)
We both clean and wipe the showers out each time we use it.
I clean the toilet as well as behind and the bendy bit ( outside ) weekly ....just about need to be a yoga expert to get it nice and clean ,I hurt my shoulder cleaning it about a week ago ..so by now it’s most prob got enough dust back there to grow spuds cause I’m not home to clean it

I have a microfibre $5 long handle duster I bought from Aldi that’s great for cleaning narrow areas

I clean it as needed and I spot clean almost every day and do a major sanitation usually once every couple of weeks sometimes more.
 
The primary bathroom? When the grunge factor exceeds my threshold of tolerance.....it's usually the sink that gets to me first, toothpaste dribbles and the grayish mung on the soapdish and the splatters on the mirror. About every month I scrub it down. A few days later I scrub the toilet. The shower gets a cleaning a few times a year.
OK, that's the bathroom upstairs that I use. There's a master bathroom downstairs that I don't use and it's presentable enough for me to be comfortable with guests using it.
I've been alone here for a bit more than a year and I moved into the master bedroom a couple of weeks ago. For some reason I'm still using the bathroom upstairs.
Alright I know this sounds pretty casual but in my own defense I keep my kitchen clean every day.
 
I usually wipe down the medicine chest mirror over the sink, the sink and the outside surfaces of the toilet a few times a week, pretty much when needed. The toilet gets a good clean once a week. The floor and rugs will go at least a couple of weeks before full cleaning/washing. The tub gets done when needed and the shower doors and tile surround get the least attention, maybe once a month.....unless my husband drips a big glob of shampoo or body wash somewhere.

PS: I have a small bathroom in the basement with just a shower stall where I keep the cat litter box (unless we have company). I only clean that bathroom when needed, not on a regular basis. It's really not used.

Hubby and I use different bathrooms. Well, he shower in the guest bathroom but use the Master bathroom in the night if necessary. I do not use the guest bathroom so I have no idea if he keeps it clean or not. I keep the Master clean..I slack sometimes but the toilet is always clean and I keep the and surrounding area pretty clean. I do a deep cleaning about once a month. Downstairs bathroom stays pretty intact. We also have a jack and jill full bath which no one use but I go in there from time to time to run water in the bathtub and sink.
 
I use one bathroom and hubby use's his.....I clean my bathroom every day...wipe down the shower every night after I shower....
Clean the toilet prolly every other day...I'm the only person to use that bathroom....Unless we have company, I clean everything
in the bathroom...
My husband has the large Bathroom...(for a reason)….I won't get into that....We also have a large tub in that bathroom and a shower...
I sometimes use the large tub....
I sweep the kitchen every day....You will never see a dish, glass or anything in the sink...I do have a dishwasher...
We have a robot for the floors....We mostly have hardwood floors,....
When we worked, we had a lady clean the house every 2 weeks....She was a wonder....That was 13 years ago....Now I'm the cleaning lady!!!
 
I use only the master bathroom and wipe down once a day then deep clean once a week, the guest bathroom I dust every couple of days, it’s only used once a week, scrub it every couple of weeks.
