Batteries, batteries, I'm sick of batteries.

I like this setup. We have our batteries stored in a large box now. This would give us some organization to our mess. Maybe I will buy three or four of them and share them for Christmas gifts with the kids and my sister.

You're kidding, right? I am not into crafts. I would rather spend my time giving the dog a bath. Just kidding, Ken. I really do not enjoy messing around with these types of projects and for $18.00, that's fine by me.

Poke the right size hole in a piece of cardboard!! Send me the $18 and I will make you one!!

Hearing aids, wife's countless watches, TV remotes, little flashlights that are handy, electric toothbrush & water flosser.

I have one inexpensive digital watch. If it quits I simply buy a new one.
Cordless drill always has to be charged before I can use it.

Pulse meter, blood pressure tester, computer and mouse, cell phone, ten power tools, smoke detectors, truck remote, truck, one clock, three flashlights that is 26 in all not counting the ones I'll think of later.

I left off three TV remote batteries, that makes 29.

There was a time when I thought battery operated drills, etc. were cool, until every time I went to use them, the batteries needed to be charged. So, I agree, my fascination with all things battery operated has dissipated. There will always be an exception or two but generally speaking, make mine plug in please :) .

Remember when watches were mechanical winders that never took batteries? Now you have to buy costly and hard-to-replace button cells for them. Many stores that sell watches don't want to bother actually replacing the batteries for you. To replace it yourself requires some specialized tools, plus there's a chance of destroying the watch in the effort... 😟

My o/h has all the specialist tools needed, he always replaces our batteries or does repairs on them if needed, (no that's not his job)

Funny, but I use batteries very little. Actually, when I go shopping & see these huge packages of batteries I wonder why anyone would buy that many? I have 4 remotes by the TV, one travel alarm clock & that is about it. Oh, yes, I have 2 cameras but the batteries there last for ages & any ways, they can be recharged.
Why is there four remotes by the TV.?
