YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!! I can be having a rough day, I come on this site, read the post, respond to the post, post threads and by the time I log off, I feel better. I have other avenues as well but this is a great one. I just had to take time to let you guys know I never met any of you but I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

I have to agree with you. I love all the people here and enjoy reading all the posts ,especially your'se.
 
You are right. Of all the forums I have belonged to in my years on the Interwebz, this is by far one of my favorites. I like fact that there is such a diverse group here, as far as backgrounds and interests. Plus, with us being, generally of the same Senior generation, we have shared experiences and lives that we can discuss.

I have often turned to members for advice, and while I may not have taken it all, I have used the advice in making some decisions in my life.

@Matrix , thanks for creating this place for us to call home.

For occasional use with small phrases you can use Google translate, although the translation isn't always completely accurate.
You can also enable different keyboard languages within Windows 10, under settings, then time & language.
 
One of the reasons I joined SF was the warm welcome I received,members being from around the world,you get a different perspective on whatever the topic is.It certainly helps not to be mean spirited to each other,even if we disagree with the person's point of view.
I've been here 2 yrs, it sure feels like I've been here alot longer

I've been here 6 years...I've seen many come and many go in that time ..., some good some bad, ..many very different from each other, I've witnessed every type of attitude and vicariously seen marriages, divorces, births and deaths , it's been quite a ride.. I'm still here and enjoying not only those who have gone the distance with me, but enjoying all you very welcome newbies , and hope you'll stay with us for just as long and enjoy it just as much ... :giggle:

I joined SF last month and from day one felt welcome amongst friendly folk. Ive been on many forums since about 2006 and never felt like I do on this one. I like the forum set up and the Likes as this is encouraging especially for a newbie.

Most if all I appreciate the chance to share my feelings about grieving over loved ones and feel the empathy and encouragement from others and not feel that personal feelings are dismissed. Good to meet and chat to folk across the Pond in the USA and Canada and all countries.
