How would you feel about the possibility of artificial intelligence being able to read our minds?AI could feel what we are feeling, see what we are seeing and hear what we are hearing.

This technology has been used in the military to gain advantage over the enemy. It can be used to brainwash.

Do you think this type of artificial intelligence could be used on the general public ?

Keesha, I get creeped out with the fact that the computer/phone is tracking what I'm looking up on one site and then throwing an ad or article about it at me on another site... I can't even wrap my brain around the above idea.
I probably shouldn’t read stuff like this since I’m somewhat paranoid to begin with. It’s a scary concept.

dangerous, dangerous, dangerous
The military know no censure, a better method of killing people if possible they will be developed, regardless of
the possible cost to the population. Do you really think we destroyed the Neutron Bomb.

AI in the hands of the military is a nightmare, their the only people than can bankroll a 30 billion dollar research project

If you have some of this new technology...Alexa, etc,...your "privacy" is already being analyzed by AI.
Yes. There have been countless articles, and many programs such as "Frontline" on PBS discussing the future of AI. Wife and I refuse to have a 'wired' house. The companies selling these 'smart speakers' have admitted gathering data and listening in. I think people forget that if they have something like an Alexa, that speaker is listening to you 24/7. And, they can be hacked just like your 'smart' appliances.
We manage just fine getting on our desktop to look up recipes, or view Youtube videos on 'how to....' which I use a lot of to fix things in house and garage. No one 'needs' a smart speaker listening in, and gathering data, 24/7.
But AI, in general, is here and we're going to see the massive displacement in jobs within the next 10-20 years. Robotics is expanding exponentially.
