Doesn't puzzle me. With our lax gun laws and the backing of the NRA, almost any nit wit can possess a lethal weapon. I'm just surprised by "sane" NRA members who don't put up more of a protest and demand stricter laws and harsher punishment for those caught disobeying them.

Today, shooting someone for a traffic incident, barroom conflict, or domestic problems is becoming a routine way of life. The justification is usually the "good guy" with a gun coming to the rescue and with 300 +million citizens, that doesn't happen too often.
