I regard social media challenges as an attempt to manipulate behavior, and so shun them. Challenges intended to raise funds for some cause require that a participant recruit paying sponsors, which is an imposition upon them. Other challenges done just for the shock, brag, or publicity value can be outright dangerous. There was one involving ingestion of large amounts of cinnamon that landed kids in the hospital...

Not a chance ! .... I knew a lot of people who did the ice bucket challenge, but they were all young..or stupid, ....

The ones I've seen have been for charity like ALS.
