Nope. When I was more active on FB and would unwittingly get caught in one of those stupid things that had unexpected weird consequences like having to post something for 30 days, I'd respond, "No thanks. Facebook is not the boss of me."

Woe to any person who dumped a bucket of ice water over my head.

I have a good sense of humor, meaning being able to discern what's funny from what isn't. Causing someone physical discomfort or humiliating them falls squarely under the Not Funny category.

From what I read, the latest with the juvenile set is dousing oneself with a flammable liquid such as alcohol and then lighting yourself on fire.

All of them seem brainless to me, except maybe the ones designed to bring awareness to good causes and then it's doubtful. The ice bucket challenge was to publicize the disease, ALS. Promoters claim it was successful
